Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Have No Plans To Return To The UK This Christmas

As Meghan Markle‘s approval rating continues to face a sharp decline in the US, is it possible for the Duchess to agree to Harry’s plan to purchase a UK property where they can split their time?

Well, while nothing has been officially confirmed yet, there’s been a lot of speculations surrounding the news. Are people excited that Harry and Meghan could opt for a UK base or not?

Royal Expert Says Harry and Meghan Have No Plans To Bring Their Children to the UK This Christmas

Harry may be looking for a house in the UK, but that does not mean that the royal feud is magically over. It’s still very much alive, and that means King Charles will have to wait a while longer to be able to hug his two American based grandkids. A while longer than Christmas, that is.

Speaking to the Mirror, Royal Historian and expert, Tessa Dunlop, said, “Christmas is coming and we want Meghan and Harry to inject the Windsor brand with a bit of Transatlantic tension. But don’t hold your breath, just as Harry was a no-show at Balmoral this summer it is unlikely that he’ll grace Sandringham with his presence.”

She continued: “Far from buying a penthouse near London, it doesn’t even look like King Charles will get a Christmas cuddle with those absent grandchildren.”

Harry House Hunting In The UK?

The reports of Harry house hunting in the UK is not the first time the couple has been plagued with moving rumors. As far back as 2022, reports emerged that the couple were considering moving to New York. It also came at a time when rumors were swirling that Meghan could be looking forward to having a political career.

Another person who couldn’t resist wading into the debate was Lady Colin Campbell, who opined that it might make sense for Harry to opt for a UK base even though he’s no longer a working royal.

“If they move, Harry will be staying here sometimes because it suits him in terms of his status as a counsellor of state and a possible regent should anything happen to William in the future.”

However, she added that she thinks the whole thing is a “a load of [nonsense].”
