NCIS: Los Angeles To Cast Christopher Gorham As Hollace’s son

NCIS Los AngelesNCIS: Los Angeles spoilers, news, and updates tease a new character to be introduced in the series’ final season.

Christopher Gorham, known for his roles in Ugly Betty and Insatiable, is set to join the cast of NCIS: Los Angeles for its 14th season, which is also the series’ final one.

Gorham will play Alex, the son of Hollace Kilbride (played by Gerald McRaney). His introduction may not be on a positive note, so we may expect a little bit of drama in the final episodes of NCIS: LA.

NCIS: Los Angeles  – The Father And Son eunion

TV Insider scooped that this would be a “rocky reunion” for Alex and Hollace. Hollace is set to reconnect with his ex-wife Elizabeth, to be played by Marilu Henner.

Hollace became more open about his family life with Marty Deeks, played by Eric Christian Olsen, which could mean that the establishment of Alex’s character would revolve around Hollace being more of a present father.

As a recap, Hollace said that he dedicated too much of his life to the service. And though he was proud of the career he had, it had affected his relationship with his wife and son, as he became neither a father nor a husband to them.

Deeks brought the idea of Hollace reconnecting with his son even though it has been a long estrangement between the two. This initiated Hollace’s willingness to reconnect with his son, probably through her ex-wife, in the upcoming episode.

NCIS: Los Angeles  – Alex Reynolds’s Troubled Past

It was also revealed that his son had some trouble in the past and that his son had spent some time in rehab. We could really expect a broader storyline between the father and the son. And Gorham’s character could bring a lot to the table with his troubled past and the lack of mention of him throughout the series. It sure is a storyline they could explore more.

NCIS: LA producer R. Scott Gemmill said that they intend to delve more into the narrative about Hollace and Alex (and their separation) and how it would affect future episodes. This may be the “rocky reunion” they were referring to.

Earlier this year, it was announced by CBS that NCIS: Los Angeles will end after the next season. It is one of the longest-running series on the network. The final episode is set to air on May 14.
