GH Spoilers: Willow And Michael Agree Nina’s Biological Connection Changes Nothing

General Hospital - Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is going to jump at the chance to help Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) survive her battle with stage IV leukemia, but Willow might not be as eager to let her help. The last thing Willow wants is to have any part of Nina in her life, and she’s going to struggle with knowing she only has that life because of Nina to begin with.

Will she really sacrifice herself just to keep ties severed with her newfound birth mom? It’s not likely, but accepted a bone marrow donation from Nina is going to be difficult for Willow, and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will agree with and support her every step of the way as she makes it clear to Nina that her act of goodwill doesn’t change her opinion of Nina or their relationship.

General Hospital Spoilers — Blood Isn’t Thicker Than Water

Willow will insist she isn’t going to change her mind about how she feels about Nina. Mother and daughter or not, Nina has shown her true colors to Michael and Willow, and they won’t budge an inch on their feelings for her or their refusal to allow her to be in Wiley Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) life. That being said, Nina will plan to push for change when Willow is more stable and not on her deathbed; of course, this isn’t the right time for that. However, Nina might be overlooking how Willow really feels about the people in her life.

Obviously, those she loves most are not in her life because they are relatives. Until Nina, she didn’t know anyone who was related to her. When she lost her mother who raised her, Harmony Miller (Ings Cadranel), she still didn’t feel that Harmony was any less of a mother to her just because it wasn’t by blood. Willow has come to feel familial about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), too, but that might change soon. What Willow knows for certain is Nina is far too selfish to be in her life.

GH Spoilers – Hint Willow Tait Already Had A Mother, Imperfect As She Was

Willow isn’t romanticizing the memory of Harmony. She knows her mom was a pathological liar. She knows how many times she left her hurt and confused when she was supposed to be the one person who always had Willow’s back and never harmed her. In reality, Willow’s mom had faults and Willow is willing to look at it like she’s no less than anyone else, but is that really true? Harmony was selfish and put her own needs ahead of Willows — even in death.

She allowed Carly to carry the torch forward with the same selfish streak. It will only be Nina who becomes the selfless one in this equation. Might that help to finesse the perception of Nina that Willow has come to have? Will she ever look at Nina like a mother figure, or will she stick with remembering Harmony as the mom she had who wasn’t everything but was good enough?

General Hospital Spoilers — With Nina Reeves, There Are Always Strings Attached

Nina might promise Willow and Michael that she understands their acceptance of her bone marrow donation would not change anything. She may insist she hears them and knows she won’t be getting any face time with them or Wiley just because she went out of her way to take on doing such a huge and life-altering favor for them.

In fact, Nina herself might only view her act of kindness as her repaying debts, because she’s always felt guilty for the way she handled things with Sonny in Nixon Falls, as well as not asking Michael and Willow before talking to Wiley about Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier). Could this be the first step in merging back into the family fold? Willow and Michae say no, for now. Stay tuned for more General Hospital news and spoilers to discover how this storyline unfolds.
