GH Spoilers Wednesday, July 5: Unbelievable News, Sudden Suspicions, Welcome Invitations

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, July 5 tease unbelievable news, sudden suspicions and welcome invites; Tuesday, July 4 will be an encore episode honoring the late Sonya Eddy. Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) asks if some unbelievable news is true, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) has sudden suspicions, and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) gets a welcome invitation.

General Hospital Spoilers – Unbelievable News

At the Deception Cosmetics office, Brook Lynn asks Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) if her unbelievable news is true. Sasha’s indeed back at work and ready to jump back into her life full force. Little does she know she’s been set up for failure by Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs).

The not so good doctor has prescribed sedatives to take with her antidepressants, which will likely send her back on the road to addiction. Gladys doesn’t want to let Sasha out of her guardianship because she doesn’t want to lose access to her accounts!

GH Spoilers – Cody Bell Argues

Elsewhere, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) argues with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) over the deal he’s working on with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). He had to sign an affidavit that Leopold Taub (Chip Lucia) was his birth father and he already had a birth certificate. The birth certificate had to be forged, since Dominque Stanton (Shell Danielson) had given her baby to the Bell family to raise, Taub knowing nothing. Dante was suspicious of what he and Scotty were working on and Cody shouts at Dante, maybe he doesn’t want out of it!

General Hospital Spoilers – Sudden Suspicions

Back at Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) office at Deception, Lucy has sudden suspicions as she smirks “there’s a snake in our midst”. Lucy discovered confidential files pertaining to “The Deceptor” had been downloaded, and although at first she suspects Maxie, she realizes it doesn’t make sense. Previously, Brook Lynn had copied and downloaded the file on a flash drive to give her grandmother, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).

Brook Lynn will cover by admitting she downloaded it to study, to be more familiar with the product. She’ll play dumb and say she didn’t realize the file was confidential.

GH Spoilers – Sam McCall Brainstorms With Carly Spencer

At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Carly brainstorm over how to raise the five million dollars Carly owes the SEC. It sounds like Carly comes up with an idea that Sam doesn’t agree with, asking her if she’s really ready to let it go? Perhaps Carly is thinking about selling her house, since she cannot get a job very readily; that would be extreme, and very uprooting for her children. However, she may have no other choice, she cannot ask for help or it could void the deal with the Feds.

General Hospital Spoilers – Welcome Invitation

At the hospital in the isolation room in the ICU where Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) was just told she can go home-with restrictions for her safety she talks to Nina. It is a welcome invitation as Willow tells her she’d like her to come for a visit at home. It’s a start if Nina can behave herself and not take a mile when given an inch, and if she and Carly can get along.

Nina can hardly believe her ears, she thought that would never happen. She’s being given a chance at being in her birth daughter’s life.

GH Spoilers – Nina Reeves Tells Sonny Corinthos

Back at Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) penthouse, Nina smiles as she tells him the good news. Sonny is pleased and notes to her “never say never”. It has been a long time coming but finally there’s a small opening for Nina and Willow to get to know each other as mother and daughter. However, Willow did say a visit, not many visits but it’s better than no visits, and she’ll get to see her grandchildren.  The two will likely go to the visit together pending how many people Willow can safely have in her “bubble”.

General Hospital Spoilers – Tracy Quartermaine Summons Diane Miller

Tracy summons Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) who may not appreciate the summons, but may be intrigued by what Tracy has to offer. It looks like they may be at the Metro Court as Tracy asks if she’s in, or she’s out. Tracy will not take no for an answer, but Diane may or may not give in.

What could Tracy possibly be offering Diane and what kind of deal is she trying to make with her? This could be interesting, considering Tracy did Diane’s best friend Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) wrong, very wrong!
