GH Spoilers: Sonny Gets The Goods On Austin

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is becoming suspicious of Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth). Sonny is perceptive and his antenna is up regarding the doctor and his relationship with Ava Jerome (Maura West). Something isn’t quite right there and the mob boss is intent on getting to know Austin better.

Ava is the mother of his daughter, Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola), so Sonny needs to keep his eyes open about who she brings around.

Austin Staged A Fake Kidnapping On General Hospital

Dr. Holt has been warning Ava about the wrath of his cousin Mason (Nathanyael Grey) for a while now but Ava has not been convinced to do his bidding.

The cousins have been insisting that she spy on Avery’s dad but that’s not something she wanted to do. Ava and Sonny have had a very rocky relationship. Now that they are in a decent place, she does not want to rock the boat.

Their next plan was to plant a spy in the Corinthos household pretending to be the nanny. The problem was that Pilar (Brenda Barberena) has always taken care of Avery and is loved by the family.

Austin’s solution was to stage a fake kidnapping to make it look like Pilar wasn’t paying attention so that she would be fired. Then Ava could replace her with a nanny of Mason’s choosing.

General Hospital Spoilers: Will Sonny Fire Pilar?

Sonny trusts Pilar, as does Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). So did Ava. But now she is pushing for the nanny to be fired because of the fake kidnapping.

With Austin at her side, she tried to convince Avery’s dad to let Pilar go and allow her to pick a replacement. Mason already threatened Ava’s mom if she didn’t do what he asked.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Sonny would never just let anyone into his home, so whoever Ava wanted would have to be investigated thoroughly. Austin believes that Mason’s “nanny” will pass with flying colors.

But would Sonny fire Pilar? He may not want to. She has been with the family for years and before this, she was always trusted. But Ava will do her best to convince him that letting the nanny go is the right move because they almost lost their daughter due to her carelessness. What he will do remains to be seen.

Sonny Becomes Suspicious Of Austin

Dr. Holt is hanging around Ava often, which means he will be near Avery. Sonny Corinthos can never be too careful when it comes to his family. Trouble always creeps in.

Austin first appeared to be a good guy who was only trying to help Ava. But lately, there is a certain creepiness to him. He may be pretending to save her from the evil Mason, but could actually be working with him. There is a chance he has been playing her the whole time to get to Sonny.

Why are Mason and Austin trying to get info on Mr. Corinthos? Could it have something to do with the mysterious Pikeman?

Sonny has begun to suspect that Austin is no good. If he finds out the doctor was threatening his daughter, there will be hell to pay.
