GH Spoilers: Sonny And Nina Aren’t The Only Rising Newlyweds In Town

General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) haven’t received the warmest of receptions about their engagement, but no one has chewed them out for it yet, either. While fans are mulling over the possibility that they’ll never make it down the aisle, other theories are arising that suspect someone else will beat them there — Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

These two are in a serious legal predicament, and there are potential benefits to them being married so that they cannot be compelled to testify against one another. But Carly has been pretty resistant to any methods of circumventing paying for her mistakes. Is she really ready to give it all up and go to prison, or will she say yes?

General Hospital Spoilers — Drew Pops the Question

When Drew asks Carly to marry him, he’s not going to make it about business. This isn’t a strategy for Drew. Sure, they only just came out to the public as being together, but their relationship isn’t really all that new anymore, and it’s not like they were strangers before they became more than friends.

He’s just bumping up the timeline on something he knew he would eventually do anyway. When he proposes, it will be because he loves Carly and wants to share a life with her. When Carly says yes, it might not be for the same reasons.

GH Spoilers Suggest Everyone Revels in Their Happiness

While no one really cheered Nina and Sonny on when they announced their big news, Carly and Drew’s news will incite the polar opposite response. Nina is going to notice that. Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will be over the moon.

Even Ava Jerome (Maura West) might not see the harm in their plan, which she assumes is all strategy. That’s going to hurt Nina, who didn’t really feel supported by her bestie when she got that rock on her finger. Why is everyone so happy for Carly but not for Nina?

General Hospital Spoilers — Nina Ramps Up Her Plan

As more resentment continues to build up inside of her, Nina won’t be able to resist taking her plan to take Carly down a step further. Little does she know, Sonny really is the one at risk.

Having already put too many pieces of this puzzle into motion, Nina will have to follow through or she could risk losing her man while hanging onto Carly and watching her ride off into the sunset!
