GH Spoilers: Sam Circles Back To New Years — Does Dante Want His Pops In Prison?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint the weight of impending consequences hangs heavy over Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) recent chat with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). The SEC has built a case against both Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) that Dante admits looks strong. Carly’s connections to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice benard) are no doubt playing a role in this situation, and Sonny may feel obliged to help her because of that. Carly might worry that pestering Dante for more information could make him uncomfortable, and she might call on her gal pal, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), to do the pestering for her.

Although Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has called off his revenge scheme against Sonny, it is possible that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) may go ahead with Mikey’s plan, sans Mikey. If Carly learns about Joss’ intentions and that she is encouraging Dex to go to Dante with that footage, she may run to Sam in an effort to help persuade Dante not to act on it should Joss and Dex fork the footage over. That video evidence is all the PCPD would need to put Sonny away forever.

GH Spoilers – Tease Father And Son Are Strained

Dante and Sonny’s personal and professional relationship is a complicated one. Though Dante may have reservations about arresting his own father, he understands that his duty as a police officer outweighs any personal feelings he may have. On the other hand, Sonny has made a career out of being a criminal and may be forced to face the consequences of his actions for once. It’s not an easy situation for either of them, but Dante’s job is to uphold the law — even if it means he has to arrest a family member. Still, his family could hold him accountable if he does.

General Hospital Spoilers — Sam McCall Can’t Help

Carly is in a tough spot, unable to reach Dante despite her best efforts. Her only option may be to turn to Sam for help. However, when Sam realizes Dante may want to build a case against his father — as she already suspected — she will instantly regret bringing it up and may fear that she won’t be able to help keep Sonny out of prison after all. Dante will seem determined to get to the truth, even if it means painting his father in a negative light. This might be a great time for Dante’s past with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) to creep into the spotlight and color Dante as a hypocrite.
