GH Spoilers: Nina Grows Tired Of Hearing She’s Not First On Sonny’s List Of Priorities

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has spent the better part of her time in a relationship with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) trying to ignore the opinions of others.

But that will grow increasingly difficult as everyone feels entitled to school Nina on just what she’s gotten herself into by agreeing to marry a world-renowned mobster.

All was peachy when Nina was able to lie to herself more easily about how Sonny spent his time when he was “working,” but confronted with the possibility that he may never come home again — and she may be in danger because of it — is enough to rattle Nina’s fragile nerves. When a few too many people try to tell her how it’s going to be, Nina just might snap.

When Alexis gave Nina the cold, hard truth about Sonny’s lifestyle and business enterprise, she didn’t hold back.

While she clearly had no intention of further worrying Nina about what might lie ahead, merely sharing the truth about what she has personally witnessed over the years was enough to leave Sonny’s fiancé looking for a savior.

Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) seemed to nod in agreement with everything Alexis had to say, and in that moment, it became much more difficult for Nina to keep lying to herself about who she is marrying — but not impossible.

Ava was a strong supporter of Nina’s since she fell for Sonny — even back when he was just “Mike” from Nixon Falls.

When Nina moved in on Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) man, Ava was cheering her on from the sidelines as their friendship evolved from a foundation built on a shared hatred for Carly.

Ever since Nina reported Carly to the SEC, Ava has been pretty clear that she thinks her bestie took things too far and should come clean with Sonny while she still can.

Sonny has plenty of children — and mothers to them to boot! She was hoping nothing would come of Sonny’s entanglement with Pikeman, but she knew he was in over his head as soon as she learned what he was up to.

Being the only woman who is truly equipped to handle what comes with Sonny’s lifestyle, Nina may not have known what she was asking for when she requested Carly’s help.

Will she be able to keep up when Carly springs into action to manage the business and keep the family safe?
