GH Spoilers: Nina A Bone Marrow Match — But Too Late To Save Willow?

General Hospital Spoilers reveal Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) could be the missing link in keeping Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) alive — and that’s going to become her top priority now that she has realized Willow is her daughter. Still, Willow isn’t going to jump to accept Nina’s version of the truth with any speed, and she’s already far more ill than her doctors had hoped she would be at this point in her course of treatment.

When Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) urged Nina to get tested and find out if she’s a bone marrow match for Willow, she insisted time was of the essence, and Nina is going to do the same as she relays the news to her grown-up baby girl. Will she be able to save Willow’s life?

According to GH spoilers, when Carly told Nina she was Willow’s mother, she didn’t beat around the bush. Insisting she had proof and that it wasn’t some kind of twisted joke, Nina got the point and left Carly alone in the chapel with her sins as she raced to Willow’s hospital room.

Telling Willow she is her mother should have been one of the highlights of Nina’s life. Instead, it will be a low point, as Willow screams at her to get out of her hospital room and accuses her of having the same sick and twisted sense of humor Nina thought Carly had. Nina isn’t going to give up that easily though. She’ll insist she’s going to be that bone marrow match even if Willow doesn’t want her help.

It’s true. Willow just might refuse the bone marrow donation. It might sound silly to some, but Willow might feel she’s stuck between a rock and hard place. On one hand, of course, she wants to do anything she can to survive. She wants to marry Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).

She wants to raise her son, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver), with Michael, and she wants to welcome her baby girl into the world with them, too. However, she doesn’t believe Nina has an altruistic bone in her body, and the threat of having Nina come after Wiley again — or her daughter, gives Willow pause and makes her wonder if her children might be better off without her as long as they remain without Nina, too.

Willow can feel the weight of every moment she has with Michael in her hospital room as she wonders whether Wiley is coping alright at home after bearing witness to his Mommy collapsing on the stairs. Nina feels that same weight, as she worries she might lose yet another daughter she never knew she had.

The love she feels for Willow came instantaneously, and she’s going to race against the clock to get tested while praying she’s a match for Willow. It’s going to come down to the wire and there is a possibility that even though Nina will be a match, she may not get the results in time.
