General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Liz Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) may be trying to reconnect romantically.

General Hospital Spoilers reveal that Liz and Finn have not been the most popular of pairings. Frankly, some find the Vermont scenes downright disturbing.

Every time GH writers have tried this, the couple has crashed and burned. Why are the writers beating a dead horse over and over? Michael Easton spoke in the last issue of SOD about trying to get them back on track.

Easton said, I don’t know what’s going to happen with them, I really don’t. I actually thought it was done and then they re-engaged it.”

Michael also admits that TPTB are going all in and trying to see where it goes but it is hard to pick up once you have lost momentum. Will Finn and Liz make it this time or will Nikolas swoop in and steal her away?

GH Spoilers – Liz Balwin Will Always Care About Nikolas Cassadine

Even if Liz and Finn work out this time, that doesn’t mean that Liz won’t be in Nikolas’ orbit. After all, Liz and Nikolas have been friends for decades and just like before, Nikolas needed her and she jumped into action.

Unfortunately, Liz could have lost everything because of that move. Is being close to Nikolas worth what Liz has to lose?

Liz and Nikolas have always had chemistry, just look at how steamy their affair was back when Jake got hurt at the carnival. Liz has much better chemistry with Nikolas than she has ever had with Finn.

Liz wants what is best for Nikolas but part of that requires him to stand up and act his age. Nikolas needs to owe his screw-ups and not do them again.

General Hospital Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine Will Remain Free

Nikolas has been steering clear of Port Charles recently because he knows Liz Baldwin went to the cops about what happened with Esme.

However, they do not have enough evidence to put him away because Esme doesn’t remember what Nikolas did to her. With this being the case, Nikolas should be returning to Port Charles soon.

Will Nikolas decide to get on with his life and reignite things with Liz now that he is home? Jason Morgan (ex-Steve Burton) isn’t in the picture to keep her safe.

If things don’t work out with Finn then Nikolas could be the perfect man for Liz. However, Nikolas needs to stop playing games and act like the adult he is.
