GH Spoilers: Is Charlotte Trying To Parent Trap Nina And Valentin?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) might be trying to set a parent trap! Is she trying to get Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) back together?

General Hospital Spoilers – You’re Together!

When Charlotte first woke up after her surgery to remove the bullet Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) put in her stomach, she was excited to see her papa and ex-stepmother together.

Charlotte was happy and seemed to have hopes they’d reconciled, but she may not have realized Nina had just married Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

She brightened up and smiled and exclaimed “You’re together” and Nina confirmed that they were-at least together to see her wake up.

Considering, brainwashed by Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) or not, Charlotte is trying so hard to drive Anna from Valentin, might she want him back with Nina?

Nina kept in touch with her as a mother figure even when she was in boarding school in France, although Valentin wasn’t told where she was!

GH Spoilers – Surely Charlotte Cassadine Knows About Sonny Corinthos

Charlotte had stayed with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) while Valentin and Laura and Kevin Collins (Genie Francis, Jon Lindstrom) were in Europe.

They’d been looking for Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) but Valentin had returned to Port Charles after Chechnya; staying with Dante’s son, surely Charlotte would have known Nina married Sonny!

Maybe it doesn’t matter; maybe Charlotte figures Nina will leave Sonny for Valentin once Anna’s gone-after all, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to tell they’re still close.

When Nina and Valentin were married, it was a happier time-Charlotte got to ride horses every day and although there was some danger at times, Papa was her hero.

It was confusing to find out Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) was her mother, although they bonded later-but she may never wake up; when Nina was there, things were more stable.

General Hospital Spoilers – A Mother-Daughter Bond Still Exists

Even though Charlotte had bonded to her birth mother, and Nina to her birth daughter, it’s obvious a mother-daughter bond still exists between Charlotte and Nina as well.

She doesn’t have that with Anna-although Anna has tried to be nice to her, Charlotte can tell Anna wants her father, not her, or at least that’s Charlotte’s impression.

Nina represents a happier time for both Charlotte, and her father-until everything fell apart, but that was after Charlotte moved in with Dante and Lulu.

Nina didn’t want her to go, and it was Charlotte’s mother Lulu who broke up Valentin and Nina’s second wedding, although Charlotte doesn’t know the whole story.

Charlotte may not be successful at parent trapping Nina and Valentin back together, but that doesn’t mean she’s not going to continue trying!
