GH Spoilers: Gladys’ Risky Gamble Catches Up To Her-And So Does Sonny, Will He Help?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Gladys Corbin’s (Bonnie Burroughs) risky gamble will catch up to her – and so will cousin Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Gladys is in hopes that Sonny will help her by paying off her gambling debt but Sonny likely has another solution-one she may not like!

General Hospital Spoilers – Why Did She Sell The Garage Below Market?

Sonny and Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) talked before about how Gladys was very insistent on selling Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) garage although Sasha disagreed.

Sasha had to go under a guardianship as the result of her having deep emotional problems following their baby Liam Corbin’s (uncast infant) death.

When Brando was killed, who was her original guardian, his mother Gladys took over-but Gladys started frequenting Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) high stakes poker game.

When Gladys gambled away her own money she started in on Sasha’s, and that was why she sold the garage below market. Sonny finds out through the grapevine that his cousin has a gambling problem, and a big one.

GH Spoilers – Mike Corbin Played Too Much With The Ponies

Sonny remembers back years ago when his father Mike Corbin (Max Gail) had problems with playing too much on the ponies.

Many a time he’d bet on horses and lose the bill money and it caused a whole lot of problems and caused his parents to part.

Finally, in his later years they had an understanding and they reconciled, and Mike’s gambling days were gone.

So when he finds out Gladys is in trouble owing Selina a lot of money, he knows he has to intervene and he asks Gladys a lot of questions.

He’s not happy when he finds out how much money Gladys has been losing at the game and he’s even less happy when he finds out about the garage.

General Hospital Spoilers – Gladys Corbin Thinks She’s Being Bailed Out

Sonny first tells Gladys what he already knows, and what he’s found out, and she thinks he’s going to bail her out so she can continue her addiction.

Sonny will settle with Selina to keep things smooth with her but as for Gladys, he’s not just bailing her out.

Gambling is an addiction and he knows that Gladys needs some major help-he discusses the problem with Selina and Gladys is no longer allowed in the game.

Sonny is going to get his cousin into a local meeting of Gamblers Anonymous and make sure that her gambling addiction is addressed.

It turns out that her spending up Sasha’s money is just the tip of the iceberg, and Gladys needs some serious help!
