GH Spoilers: Brook Lynn Dares Her Granny To Tell Chase The Truth — And It Backfires

General Hospital spoilers suggest Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) was less than delighted when her grandmother, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), told her she needed to go back to work at Deception just a week after she parted ways with the brand.

Brook Lynn had every intention of focusing on her songwriting and music agent career. Now, she’s been picking up slack at Deception instead while doing her granny’s dirty work in the form of corporate espionage.

Spying on her friends and stealing proprietary information was not what Brook Lynn had in mind this summer. Now that she really knows where Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) stands — beside her — she’s no longer afraid of what her grandmother might do if she doesn’t bend to her will. Watch out, granny.

Brook Lynn puts up a good front, but her grandmother can tell when she’s feigning confidence — which is pretty much all the time anymore. Falling in love with Chase has given Brook Lynn something she never really had before — a conscience.

Now, she feels great shame when she’s done something that she knows Chase wouldn’t approve of. Most grandmothers would be glad to see that kind of maturity and growth in their kin, but not Tracy.

It’s most important to her that Brook Lynn follows through with her agenda, and she’s not going to let her forget it.

GH Spoilers – Say BLQ Has Newfound Confidence

When Chase let Brook Lynn know that he wasn’t going anywhere — even if she let him down again, it changed everything for her. She’s not looking at it as a get-out-of-jail-free card, but it did make her feel like she was allowed to make mistakes.

Moreover, she has finally learned that coming clean with Chase is the simplest way to iron out her mistakes. Honesty really is the best policy with Mr. Good Cop.

Now that she’s on Cloud 9 and feeling like nothing can knock her down, Tracy knows she’ll have to try even harder to do so. Tell Chase the truth? Nah, Tracy is about to up her game. Watch out, Brook Lynn.

Tracy has been threatening to tell Chase the truth about Brook Lynn’s dirty deeds at Deception. This would also only serve to get the ladies at Deception on her case.

Brook Lynn would likely lose her new bestie, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). But Granny Q has something far more sinister in mind.

If Brook Lynn is so confident that she thinks she can get away with corporate espionage just because Chase will forgive her if she tells him the truth, then Tracy will have to make sure she divulges the information to someone who won’t be so forgiving — like the Police Commissioner.

Telling Chase might save Brook Lynn’s behind, but she’s not sleeping with anyone else on the police force.
