GH Spoilers: Alexis’ Decision To Sit By And Be Silent Will Come Back To Haunt Her Where Kristina Is Concerned

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) tried a new approach with her daughter, Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi), recently, and it could pay off in spades. Kristina approached her mother alongside her big sis, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), with big plans about the future laid out before her. Krissy was thrilled when she went to her dad, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and asked him to support her business venture. Wanting to open a respite community to support LGBTQ+ afflicted individuals, Sonny saw Kristina’s plan as an extension of who she is.

Shortly thereafter, he sent her the funds to pull it off. Alexis wants to support her daughter with the same enthusiasm, but typically, Krissy does have a way of getting in over her head and running out of steam. So this time around, Alexis took a backseat and let Sam do the talking — or, um, chastising. The result? Kristina finally felt supported by her mother’s silence. It’s a win-win, right?

When Kristina arrived at Alexis’ place, she was beaming from ear to ear. She had drummed up another one of her grand plans to save the world — and herself, at the same time. This time was different.

This time it would work out, and she had her dad’s financial support backing the whole thing. Sonny isn’t one to just throw away money, is he? So that must mean he thinks it’s a good idea — or he just likes buying his daughter’s affection. He’s like that with women.

Nonetheless, when Kristina presented her plans to Alexis and Sam started railing against her, Alexis saw no need to intervene. Sam was saying everything she wanted to. For once, Alexis got to play the role of the silent supporter Krissy had been longing for her to be.

After a minor scuffle, Sam and Kristina talked things through. Kristina came to realize that Sam was only looking out for her best interests, and that she has every right to think of Kristina as a bit of a flake who never follows through on her big plans and business ventures.

She would prove to them that this time isn’t the same. But the irony won’t be lost on Alexis that Kristina let Sam off the hook rather quickly, when Alexis has never been able to secure such grace from her daughter after speaking out of turn or disagreeing with her.

As Kristina gets further into this endeavor, she may find out that some of the concerns Sam had were warranted. For starters, she did need to think about building permits and the cost of renovating the property. But she didn’t expect to be hit with legal issues, and she would have expected her mother — a disbarred lawyer — would have known better.

Why didn’t Alexis speak up about the issue at hand when it should’ve been staring her in the face? Did she just want Kristina to learn her lesson the hard way? Surely, there must have been some sort of agenda the one time that Alexis didn’t speak up about how she really felt, right?
