General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Levels With Dante — Does He Really Want To Arrest His Father?

General Hospital spoilers tease Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) recently sat down with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to discuss the case the SEC was building against her and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Unfortunately, Dante didn’t have much to say that was very encouraging; it sounds like they have a case and intend to run with it. Is this because of Carly’s connections to mob life?

Perhaps, but she is guilty, too. The next time they sit down together, Dante might think Carly is phishing for more information when she’s really concerned — that Dante is going to try to put his father away in federal prison alongside her. Is this really what he wants? Inquiring minds really want to know.

General Hospital spoilers show Dante and Carly have always held a pretty amicable relationship. Despite Carly and his father no longer being married (for now), Dante respects Carly and treats her as a forever member of his family, and vice versa. So it’s not outside of the ordinary for her to reach out to him out of concern for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Right now, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has called off his revenge scheme against Sonny, but there is a chance Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) could go through with it. If they hand Dante all the evidence required to put his pops away, is he going to do it?

GH Spoilers – Leak Sonny Corinthos Made His Bed

Dante might argue that Sonny has made his bed and he’ll have to lie in it. After all, it’s no secret to anyone what he’s spent his life doing and that most of his business activities are never legal. Dante and Sonny made an agreement with one another months ago that they wouldn’t change their personal feelings about one another regardless of how differently they behaved professionally. Dante never wanted to have to arrest his father, but that doesn’t mean he will hold back on doing his job if it’s the right thing to do.

Carly just might go to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) if she can’t get through to Dante on her own. When Sam learns that Dex may be handing Dante a catalog of information to use in building a case against his father, she’s going to wonder what his real intentions are.

Recalling New Years’ Eve when they ran into Dex, Dante seemed to press him on changing his story. He was pretty intent on getting to the bottom of the truth even if it painted his dad in a poor light. Does that really sound like a guy who doesn’t want to see his father put away?
