DOOL Spoilers: Ava And Stefan Set A Death Trap For Clyde-Priest Lucas Ensures “Last Rites”?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and rumors tease Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) will set a death trap for Clyde Weston (James Read) in Statesville.

The plan is for Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) to disguise himself as a priest, and ensure his “last rites’ with a poisoned drink which Stefan will sneak in!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Ava Vitali And Stefan DiMera Are Sick Of Clyde Weston

Ava and Stefan are sick of Clyde, and several other Salem citizens could agree also; EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) for two.

Ava and Stefan are the ones he’s blackmailing to run his drug business in Salem, and if he were killed there’d be less trouble in town.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Ava And Stefan Set A Death Trap For Clyde-Priest Lucas Ensures “Last Rites”?Ava is in a huge bind considering she’s got to keep her part in it secret from her boyfriend, Detective Harris Michaels (Steve Burton).

Stefan was roped in after Ava killed Clyde’s thug, Gil Carter (David S. Lee) for trying to rape her.

Clyde wouldn’t want anything to happen to Stefan’s wife Gabi Hernandez DiMera (formerly Camila Banus) after all and that’s his leverage over Stefan.

DOOL Spoilers – A Lot Of Planning Needed

A lot of planning will be needed considering Lucas is also an inmate in Statesville-and discussions must be held in secret and the priest costume delivered as well.

Stefan decides that he will do the deliveries and the visit with Lucas, since he goes there to see Gabi on the womens’ side anyway.

Lucas is certainly not beyond performing convoluted schemes, incarcerated himself for faking a kidnapping of Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) in order to make himself a hero to her.

This scheme to kill Clyde, which Lucas has wanted to do anyway, will require just as many intricate details as Sami’s kidnapping, and will take advantage of Clyde’s love for alcohol.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Poisoned Communion Wine Left In Plain Sight

Clyde pretty much runs the show in Statesville along with his old pal Orpheus (George delHoyo) but one thing they have a problem with is getting liquor in.

The only thing alcoholic in Statesville is the communion wine the chaplain keeps for use in the prison chapel, and that’s where Lucas’ disguise comes in.

The chaplain, while somewhat non-denominational, in Statesville happens to be a Catholic priest and Stefan is easily able to get in to see Lucas with a bottle of “holy water.”

Security is somewhat lax, although not as lax as Clyde and the other inmates would like it to be.

All Lucas has to do is spike a small glass of Communion wine with the poison, and leave it in plain sight of Clyde, who no doubt will drink it!
