It can take (or feel like) ions for two people in the land of soap operas to connect. Sure, sometimes characters can land in bed for a one-nighter, but when it comes to a bonafide romance, it takes months for two people to connect.

Xander only just dumped Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) in March because he still had feelings for Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), which was only a mere three months ago. How can Xander be over both Sarah and Gwen and ready to move on to Chloe?

Especially since Ms. Lane is no stranger to Kiriakis; it’s not like she’s a new character that sauntered into town, captured his attention, and she’s “wowed” him. The two have known each other well over the years and have never even been friends. So, what’s different now?

DOOL Spoilers – Is This All “Rushed” Because Of The Baby Storyline?

Sarah’s pregnant and hiding her baby from Xander because she doesn’t want him to know he’s the daddy. With Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) in the know, this secret is about to explode.

Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) recently made a remark to Chloe about Sarah always coming first in Xander’s life, which seemed to foreshadow a plot twist on the horizon.

Ms. Horton will likely return and place a wedge in the Chloe and Xand love affair, which begs the question: was their romance rushed to usher in this baby-mama-drama storyline?
