Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Paulina Wants Abe Back, Asks Marlena To Hypnotize Him?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease an impatient Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) wants her whole Abe Carver (James Reynolds) back. She finally gives in to her temptation and asks Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to hypnotize him-it had been suggested before, but he hadn’t been willing.

When Abe was first rescued from the crazy cat lady who slightly resembled Paulina, he tried coming home to her but he just wasn’t ready. Being with Paulina in their home just was too strange and too much of an adjustment-and it was very unsettling for him.

It was like he didn’t know who even he was, or what he liked, or what he didn’t-he’d been trained by the nurse who faked his death and held him captive.

But Paulina has her hopes up since Abe agreed to a home cooked meal-one of his favorites, and he liked it. She hopes now she can convince Marlena to hypnotize him to bring his memories back, and that he will agree to it.

DOOL Spoilers – Abe Carver Hasn’t Regained His Memories, He’s Learned Them

Even though Abe acts like he’s regained his memories at times, he really hasn’t-he’s learned; like when he had the encounter with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) in the square.

He explained to Nicole that he was learning his history and everything he could about his former life, but he really wasn’t knowing from memory.

Abe knows that Paulina is his wife and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) is her daughter and there’s another daughter and twin grandbabies; but not having actual memories just isn’t the same.

Paulina also knows this and because he’s been studying up on himself and his past, perhaps he’s ready for hypnosis by Marlena.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – If He’s Ready, Marlena Evans Is Ready

Before she broaches the subject with Abe again, she first talks to Marlena to make sure that she’s willing to try it.

Abe’s amnesia came from an organic cause-a traumatic brain injury-so it may or may not work. But Marlena is ready to try if Abe is, and suggests that they come to the office together so she can explain how it works to Abe.

Abe indeed is willing to try it, but he and Paulina both understand that in his case, the hypnotic regression may not work. The last thing Paulina wants to come up is trauma from his injuries, but it’s a risk they’ll have to take.
