On Friday, July 21 A.K. Murtadha plays the character of Marshall Sam Gerard. He is in Salem to find Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) who is not where she is supposed to be.

Lani has been swept up in the drama surrounding her father Honest Abe Carter (James Reynolds) and goes missing, just like him. However, both are alive and well, simply the victims of Nurse Whitley (Kim Coles).

Lani was released temporarily so that she could attend Abe’s memorial. She is in prison for killing her evil biological father and the law comes looking for her when she fails to report back.
