They talked about appealing their case, and at one stage, it seemed that they had a chance of delaying the start of their prison sentences. That came when apparently, an IRS agent belatedly admitted that they had historically been paying taxes. So, that might have influenced the jury. They hoped for bond to stay out of prison until their appeal, but failed with that tactic.

The former USA Network stars will go to prison either until they complete their sentences or get their appeal approved. Julie reportedly goes to Florida’s FCI Marianna, apparently not the same one as Ghislaine Maxwell, despite rumors about that. In time, fans will find out where she ends up.  As the time approaches for Todd to report to Pensacola in Florida, the family is spending precious time together. That’s because he goes inside for 12 years. Meanwhile, Julie will serve seven years.

Chrisley Knows Best fans know that Todd and Julie have been spending time with their family and making podcasts. Additionally, they pray a lot and started going for some therapy. It was a huge shock to the family who always believed in their innocence. Actually, that belief didn’t help them with the judge. because they showed no remorse. Anyway, they will go to prison as scheduled because they failed to win bond until their appeal.

Chrisley Knows Best – Appeal For Delay Fails

Radar Online reported that Todd and Julie Chrisley cannot delay the start of their prison sentences. Their legal team tried hard to get a delay in their appeal. But it was refused and now they must go off to prison on January 17. When the outlet reported about it, they noted, “the couple had been working with their lawyers overtime in a last-ditch effort to avoid serving their sentences behind bars.”

Bravo and Cocktails shared the news on Instagram, and there, folks could share their views about the failed delay in starting prison sentences. Chrisley Knows Best didn’t appeal to everyone, so some commenters seemed a bit hard. One of them wrote, “Do the crime, do the time.” And then another follower penned, “These guys are not going to a regular prison ?they will be just fine. federal prison is totally different. do the crime do the tTime! (sic).”

Chrisley Knows Best – Some Support For the Couple

The Chrisley Knows Best couple finds some support. Not because they might not have done the crime, but because of the severity of their sentences. One person wrote, “There’s something to be said about how the government sentences those who plead guilty and those who dare challenge them.” 

Another follower opined, “Wow. I’m shocked they were denied bond. I know they must be beside themselves.”
