B&B Spoilers: Thomas Proves Growth – Brooke Protecting Hope

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) made a decision and finally followed through on it.

Rather than just saying he wanted to be a better father, family member, friend, and colleague, he delivered.

Thomas’ comeback has made a lot of people feel good. His parents and siblings were deeply disappointed in his past behavior, but they remained Thomas’ champion and he came through.

However, there are some, like Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), who will keep mining yesterday’s Thomas.

She and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) believe the remnants of his dark personality can return at any point.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Liam Spencer Turns The Corner

Liam thought himself into divorce. The shock he received when seeing Hope kiss Thomas, twice, outside the Coliseum did not initially wear off.

Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) was amazed Liam was in Rome, Italy after the fashion event and soon realized that meant he witnessed what happened between her and Thomas.

But subsequent attempts to determine if Steffy’s marital issues were creating an opening Liam could use to reconcile with her flopped.

So, the serial cheater, who could not handle Hope having one lapse of judgment in her life, has suddenly decided to give her a second chance.

Viewers likely thought that was so nice of Liam, with full snark intended toward Clifton’s character.

B&B Spoilers – Brooke Logan Remains On It

Brooke is very protective of Hope, in particular. Like Liam, she recognizes that Hope’s sweet nature reflects naivete.

So, Brooke feels compelled to protect her as though she were still a child.

But Hope is not a child and can manage her life. Within a matter of months, she came to terms with the feelings she developed for Thomas then, after becoming involved with him, decided to admit her mistake and work for a solution.

Contrast Hope’s actions with Brooke’s eight divorces to Ridge. Of course, there are plenty of other broken relationships beyond the ones with Ridge that prove Lang’s character is no model of consistency or a resource for marital advice.

Yet, it must be said that Brooke does not want Hope to lose her family or endanger herself by losing the one man, Liam, whom she appears to love more than any other. Brooke’s maternal instincts are real and right.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Earns Mega Points

Thomas responded unexpectedly when Hope dropped him, saying she wanted to try again with Liam. She did not anticipate him reacting so maturely and selflessly.

She knows that Thomas loves her. Hope’s dilemma will be determining if Liam is sincere in forgiving her.

Whether Liam can ever convince Hope that she is the center of his world will be challenging.

Plus, Thomas has become a greater threat to Liam than he ever considered possible on B&B.
