The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) offered Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) a compliment. Yes, Atkinson’s character appears to be demonstrating growth.

But Liam did not know that his wife changed her mind and agreed to restore Thomas to his position as lead designer of Hope for the Future. Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) is good-hearted, which Liam knows Thomas has once again preyed upon.

Thomas was unsure if he could convince Hope to believe in him again. But she reversed course and agreed to give him another opportunity to prove himself.

Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was forced into making an impulse decision. She allowed herself to be persuaded by a woman well versed in psychological matters.

The fact that her mother, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), coerced Steffy to believe she only had two choices were wrong. Steffy knows there are plenty of talented designers in Los Angeles, California. Of course, there are countless more in California, the United States, and the rest of the world.

But Steffy gave Hope an either-or choice. She could endorse Thomas’ return to HFTF (an acronym recently sewn into dialogue) or have the eponymous line shut down.

In his mind, Thomas has no intention of causing Hope or her family trouble. He knows his comeback is conditional and plans not to push limits.

However, devoted fans know that Thomas has not been able to control himself when he is around Hope in recent years. This fixation, as Thomas accurately described it to his therapist, with Taylor by his side, was real, and repeatedly destructive.

However, Liam knows Thomas’ pattern. It does not take much time for Hope to endure torment once she is in his proximity.

Liam was so relieved. He was happy to tell his brother, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks), that Hope demonstrated growth.

But Hope’s acknowledgment of her husband’s sound reasoning was short-lived. Without his presence, she allowed other influences, including her mother’s, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), to sway perceptions.

Thomas and Hope’s workplace revival also means that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) returns to the cabin. So, the path to Thomas being at Forrester Creations and potentially in Liam and Hope’s home, may also be restored on B&B.
