B&B Spoilers: Steffy Worries Finn Made The Wrong Decision

The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and updates tease Steffy Forrester-Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will worry John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) made the wrong decision.

She had much hope that the experimental procedure performed on her grandfather Eric Forrester (John McCook) would work, even though there were no guarantees but now she’s beginning to wonder.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Eric Forrester Is Continuing To Get Worse

After crashing in the recovery room and having to be resuscitated, and that after hemorrhaging during the operation, Eric’s continued to get worse, not better.

She and the family wanted to give Eric a fighting chance at improvement but he’s still comatose and continuing to get worse.

Eric never woke up and his vital signs are not improving, they’re going the other way-it appears if he ever gets better he’ll get worse first.

Now she begins to doubt if Finn and the rest of the family, other than Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) made the right decision.

Ridge has continuously been against any attempt to sustain Eric’s life by artificial means, even though he allowed the procedure.

B & B Spoilers – Eric Forrester Is Aware Of Nothing

Eric isn’t aware of anything and doesn’t respond to any stimuli, so there at least can be the assumption he doesn’t feel any pain, and he isn’t actually suffering.

The brain monitor does seem to indicate he’s not brain dead, and Finn tests his reflexes to some response, but Steffy secretly wonders if Eric just doesn’t want to wake up.

Finn and Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) continually remind Ridge that Eric isn’t feeling the machinery and tubes that are monitoring his organs and brain and oxygen cannula.

He’s in no pain and unfortunately it’s a wait and see situation to see if he wakes up-he’s stable, he’s not brain dead, but he’s starting to have problems breathing.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – An Untenable Position

Bridget and Ridge present Ridge with an option that puts Ridge in an untenable position-switching Eric from regular option to a respirator, the machine breathing for him.

Right now, Eric is alive, but barely, and monitored by machines and assisted to breathe by oxygen, but a respirator would literally keep him alive.

They want to give Eric more time to heal, and as long as his brain monitor shows activity and he’s not brain dead, he has a chance to recover.

But Ridge is having a hard time even thinking Eric isn’t a dead man laying in bed with all kinds of probes and tubes. It’s an untenable position he’s in letting a machine breathe for his dad to give him a chance to live!
