John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is not afraid of his biological mother. But Steffy is. That is understandable based on what she experienced in the alley behind Il Giardino.

Sheila has somehow convinced Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) to become her defender. He pushed the blackmail threat, which was the incredible twist Sheila needed to remain out of jail.

Viewers know that Taylor (as then played by Hunter Tylo) shot Bill in the back in recent years. She did so after learning he and Steffy cavorted in the Forrester mansion guest house.

However, soap-time is malleable. So, the characters reference Taylor’s regretted shot as having happened many years ago.

Fans are right to wonder how Bill can prove Taylor (now played by Krista Allen) shot him in the back. Also, why would the authorities believe him after harboring the supposed truth for such a long period?

Sheila is not playing a game. Her patience will soon be up, and she will demand access to her grandchild, Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Iliana and Vienna Norris).

Finn vowed to never allow Sheila to see Hayes or to be around his real family. While Sheila’s biological tie seems genuine, Novlan’s character does not see his birth mother as a real connection. Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) earned and retains that status.

Brown’s character is likely, if not certain to restate the blackmail threat if Finn or Steffy attempt to deny her access to their family. Bill told the Finnegans that he would report Taylor to the authorities. An implication was also made about using the falsified death record Li created for Finn.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers show Katie Logan (Heather Tom) is the latest person to learn about Taylor’s crime. Expanding the circle of those in the know would generally be problematic.

However, Katie is an ally in the fight against Sheila. She also is uniquely positioned in wanting to help free Bill from Sheila’s clutches.

It feels like Katie’s gain of this important plot point can be a net positive. The team of people who want to defeat Sheila is expanding. Devoted viewers know that an army is needed to potentially neutralize and hopefully topple B&B’s reigning villain.
