But even though he knew Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) condition was tenuous, RJ was still shocked when he learned his fateful diagnosis. Eric told RJ that he was dying before the Fashion Showdown. The news naturally stunned his grandson.

So, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis), Katie Logan (Heather Tom), and RJ know about Dr. Colin Colby’s (Justiin Davis) diagnosis. Yet, Eric says that the show must go on.

It was a stretch to believe that Eric and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) could create a collection of dresses within a matter of weeks. But both fashion masters did that.

Viewers know that soap time is flexible. So, it could be that a matter of months has passed since Eric challenged his son to resolve their differences on the runway.

The storyline is being driven by Eric’s desire to produce a grand finale, while now knowing that he could be dead by next spring.

B&B Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Does Not Press

The dressmaker, as Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) has often called him, lived up to his name by creating a plethora of fashion-forward designs. Eric appreciates Ridge’s talent but believes that a classic look is best.

Considering Ridge and Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) uncertainty, it feels out of place that one or both people have not pressed Eric for more information.

They know something is off and considering the power of their couplings, viewers are suspending disbelief.

Normally, Ridge, Brooke, or both people would find a way to learn what is motivating Eric’s unusual competitive nature.

In particular, Donna and Katie’s knowledge leads the audience to believe that Brooke is more likely than not to learn the truth.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – If Not Brooke Logan Than Who?

RJ’s awareness and the intensity of his guilt make it increasingly likely that one or both of his parents will press him to reveal information. If Brooke does not do that, then Ridge would be the next best bet.

Of course, an inadvertent admission is another way that Brooke or Ridge could gain this vital information. Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) was partially clued in by RJ.

Yamada’s character is a candidate to learn about Eric’s seeming fate next. The closeness Luna and RJ share indicates he will confide in his new love interest on B&B.
