Wanting his children to be part of the family business is natural. So, Ridge believes RJ has the God-given talent and genetic inheritance chops to become a designer at Forrester Creations.

Accepting Thomas’ apology was a big step for Ridge. He is now hoping his older son can serve as a mentor for RJ.

Thomas wronged Brooke and his dad terribly. He also hurt his mom who was forced to deal with the voice-altering application hoax reveal on her intended remarriage day to Ridge, with the nuptials never being completed.

Taking time away to reset his mind, Thomas returned and pledged to be a better man, father, family member, friend, and lead FC designer.

Everyone was guarded and some did not want him to return. But Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) backed her oldest brother and Thomas was back in.

Expressing an interest in bonding with RJ is another positive step. Whether Thomas can maintain that brotherly outlook may depend upon developing circumstances.
