The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that one of the bigger reveals in years happened. Yes, a bearded and long-haired Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) reappeared only to be revealed to be working with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and the Bureau to get Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).

Just when viewers thought Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) friendship was an amazing development, and it was, Kaye’s character not only returns but has teamed with Bill. So, the Brooke-Taylor alliance can be seen as a foreshadowing of this bigger reveal.

Ridge’s absence was suspect in recent months. Viewers wondered why he needed so much time away from Los Angeles, California.

While Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) actions damaged his parents’ ability to remarry and hurt Brooke badly, Ridge had already taken a prior vacation. He spent a short time away from LA after the remarriage fail and was apparently ready to tell Taylor and Brooke what he planned to do next.

Brooke and Taylor short-circuited Ridge’s perceived ability to call the shots, with a wink intended at two of Sheila’s more recent crimes. So, Ridge was said to have left town again and was not seen until Bill entered a surveillance room.

B&B Spoilers – Bill Spencer Has Been Faking

The bizarre pairing of Sheila and Bill will be explained. Rather than a chance encounter on the beach, where he bared his soul to Sheila, Diamont’s character has been working to entrap her.

The flickering lights were a sign that some was indeed off, as Sheila was telling Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) while Bill, Ridge, and an agent were watching and listening to her.

The sight of Bill entering a federal facility, where Ridge was waiting, sent fans into a tizzy. Rather than having to suspend disbelief, in thinking that Bill actually loved Sheila or was under her otherworldly control, the audience was gifted one of the zestier B&B reveals.

So, Bill and Ridge are working with the federal government. As Bill’s earlier comments to Sheila demonstrated, in retrospect, he was trying to get her to admit to the crimes she committed.

But are these efforts legal? Sheila and whatever earnest lawyer she would hire argue entrapment, no matter what she says in the privacy of Bill’s mansion?

Everyone’s fears about Bill having lost his mind, by supposedly falling in love with Sheila, will eventually be eased. But a new question can be asked.

How will Sheila respond when she discovers Bill has betrayed her trust on B&B?
