B&B Spoilers: Hope’s Defiance Sets New Approach – Thomas Is Dutifully Supportive

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) is not ashamed of what she has done. Destroying her marriage and likely splitting her daughter, Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza), from being with her father, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), are not seen as problems. Hope is pursuing the timeless goal of self-promotion. So many in this version of Los Angeles, California, including her mother, have broken lives in pursuit of subjective satisfaction.

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was not in control of himself for many years. But, for a period that can be counted in months, he has kept himself in check. Cue the sarcastic applause.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Being Like Brooke Logan?

Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) recently got what she wanted, another reunion with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Viewers recognized the same smitten look on the lover boy’s face that his son has when Thomas looks at Hope.

Hope went wild in the recent past when she realizes that her Logan blood was bubbling. She convinced herself that Brooke’s notorious romantic, to put it nicely, past, was the reason why thoughts of Thomas invaded her mind.

Brooke was not responsible for Hope being unable to discipline her mind or for choosing to kiss Thomas in Rome, Italy. Lang’s character was also not responsible for Hope breaking her vows, in the most serious way possible, when she cavorted with Thomas in his new home.

But Hope was mimicking Brooke when rationalizing her amorality as seeking her destiny, regardless of the consequences.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Liam Spencer Is Not Responsible Either

Everything Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) ever did to betray Hope’s trust was on him. He owns those moral mistakes, with morality again being cited because legality is a different concept that also generally involves money exchanges which influence outcomes.

Hope has justified being drawn to Thomas because of Liam’s attitude toward him. Her hypocrisy is breathtaking because she, more than Liam, vilified Thomas on countless occasions.

Liam’s defense of his wife in recent years created the animosity he has for Thomas. Then, Hope tires of Liam’s outlook because Thomas was needed to help save Hope for the Future.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Not Considering The Future

Leaving Brooke, Liam, and any other character out of the frame, Hope stands alone. Her ego is very healthy and will likely grow larger in the future based on this newly discovered ability to rationalize the illogical because it works for her.

Thomas is in for now. His dutiful demeanor will lift Hope’s sails. But the inevitable outcome would have Thomas being discarded if this new Hope, or the one who was always hiding inside, wants someone else someday on B&B.
