B&B Spoilers: Harder To Argue Against Thomas Rehire – Douglas’ Return Alters Dynamic

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) realized his goal. It took a while longer than he expected. But Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) agreed to rehire him as Hope for the Future’s lead designer.

Her decision directly contradicted an apparent agreement she reached with her husband. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was relieved when Hope embraced him after he implored her not to give Thomas another pathway back into their lives.

Liam’s logic can not be denied. Thomas has been fixated on Hope since he returned from New York with his son, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).

That mental health issue led to numerous instances where Thomas repeatedly provoked Hope. Problems naturally bled into her home life, with Liam becoming incensed at the many times Thomas manipulated Hope.

An intriguing element of this second chance involves Douglas learning the news at Forrester Creations and stated he wanted to return to the cabin. His feelings shifted because he learned his parents were burying the soapy hatchet. So, it will be hard for Liam to counter that positive outcome.

B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Needs To Wait It Out

Thomas appears to be sincere. He is not currently obsessed with Hope and genuinely wants to remain centered so he can retain his restored position.

But in the past, Atkinson’s character assumed that Hope would eventually leave Liam and turn to him. That is not a real possibility, even considering she does not love Thomas.

A heat-of-the-moment scenario could cause Hope to make a fateful mistake and pursue Thomas romantically. She would only need to have one vulnerable moment for her to break Liam’s trust.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope Spencer Needs Backup

Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) put Hope in a no-win situation. She insisted that Hope had to agree to work with Thomas, or HFTF would be indefinitely shut down because of financial losses.

Viewers know that the fashion line could not have been losing money for any significant amount of time because Thomas was recently fired. So, the suspension of disbelief scenario was employed, with fans asked to accept either, or option to further the plot.

Hopefully, Steffy, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), and a soon-returning Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will provide Hope with the backup she needs. Everyone watching Thomas might prevent him from going off the rails or at least delay what feels like an inevitable replay on B&B.
