Bill asked for the truth. He gently pressed Katie to tell him how deeply she was involved with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor).

Katie did not want to get into the details. She did tell her two-time ex-husband, who is the father of her son, Will Spencer (Finnegan George), that he and Carter are very different men.

The heart of the matter, for Katie, is that Carter does not carry the baggage Bill does. That translates to Bill having broken Katie’s heart on many occasions.

As his recent superb sting proved, he does care about other people beyond Katie and his three sons. She knows Bill is serious, yet his realization might be too late.

Brooke had a high appeal. But Bill knows Katie is the one woman who fits perfectly into his life. So, he plans to get her back and is willing to play the long game.

It was telling that Bill did not react with heat when learning Katie and Carter were involved, even saying Saint-Victor’s character was a good guy in front of that pairing. The old Bill would have gotten fired up. But Bill is looking honestly at today and wants Katie there with him on B&B.
