90 Day Fiancé Star Vanessa Confirms She & Colt Were To Be On The Last Resort

Recently, news came out about the latest 90 Day Fiancé spinoff, The Last Resort. At that time, it was all speculation when a number of TLC reality stars were seen filming together. Fast forward to now, and Colt Johnson’s lovely wife, Vanessa Guerra has confirmed that they were supposed to be starring in the new spinoff. However, a serious accident during filming led to them being kicked from the cast.

Colt and Vanessa were to star on 90 Day: The Last Resort

It was recently reported that Colt Johnson, 38, was up on his feet again after an incident during filming led to his leg getting seriously broken. While Colt is likely out of his own cast again, Vanessa wrote in her Instagram Stories, confirming they were supposed to star in 90 Day: The Last Resort.

In her Instagram Story, Vanessa, 33, shared the teaser trailer for the new TLC spinoff, writing:

Oh look, the show Colt and I were filming before they had the genius idea of putting him on a trampoline and telling him EXACTLY how to jump which led to his broken leg.

Good thing they bailed on us as soon as they realized he was no good for content anymore.

What is The Last Resort about?

The cleverly titled 90 Day Fiancé spinoff features five couples from the franchise that have “reached their breaking point.” In the show, the couples make a last-ditch attempt to fix their problems while spending time in “a couples retreat to determine whether or not they can heal old wounds.”

While cast members have not officially been announced, there is speculation about a number of couples that have been having issues. These include Big Ed Brown and Liz Woods, Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren, Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa, Molly Hopkins and Kelly Brown and Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi.

However, Vanessa claims that she and Colt were kicked off the show after a serious incident on a trampoline in December 2022. In the process, Johnson underwent three surgeries to repair his broken leg and torn meniscus.

When Vanessa spoke about the incident in February, she explained that they were filming a scene on a trampoline that “went terribly wrong.” While she didn’t say which spinoff they were filming, Vanessa said Colt was unlikely to star again in the franchise. However, she later told fans that he was recovering well, although it was overwhelming at first. However, she added that she had never seen Colt so determined to do something for himself like this, adding, “He’s actually more independent now than before he broke his leg.”

90 Day: The Last Resort premieres Monday, August 14 at 9 pm ET/PT on TLC. Currently, 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 6 is airing Sundays at 8 pm ET/PT on TLC.
