The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) shed some daytime light on Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) cloaked maneuvers. Her cogent question about taking over Jabot produced a pointed answer that offered a clue at the other half of his Abbott related plan.

Diane wondered aloud after she sat down at Tucker’s Society table. She got Tucker to again acknowledge that he wants his ex-wife, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), back. More on her surprising reaction appears within the first subject header below.

But Tucker’s response to Diane’s question about wanting information about Jabot’s financials may indicate that he does not want to take control of the company himself. Instead, Tucker may believe that Ashley should be running her family’s business.

Ashley was chatting with her unlikely compatriots, with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) taking verbal note of this most exceptional trio. Only Diane could create a scenario where Ashley, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) willingly teamed.

After Ashley provided an update about Diane’s revealed connection to Tucker in Los Angeles, California, as the ladies suspected, she offered an unexpected response to a question about Tucker.

Ashley referenced Tucker’s admission that he and Diane were connected in LA. However, Davidson’s character said that Tucker seemed sincere when saying that he and Diane came together because they were two lost souls.

Nikki was bothered by that analysis. Phyllis had enough and left, with her next stop being at that Abbott mansion.

Y&R Spoilers – Jack Abbott Provides Information With Sympathetic Slant

Like Ashley, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is affected by a former romantic tie. While Jack was never married to Diane, she is Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) mother and Harrison Locke’s (Kellen Enriquez).

Jack told Kyle and Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) the news about Diane and Phyllis’ contact with Talia Morgan (Natalie Morales). That was prompted by Ashley leading the update and prodding Jack to provide context.

But Jack’s details followed Diane’s story. He found Diane’s story compelling and feels she had no choice but to do Tucker’s bidding. The Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) money laundering aspect and Tucker’s exploitation of it made Diane a victim in Jack’s mind.

Diane and Tucker did not talk about Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). He is Tucker’s other personal and business focus, with hopes of running revamped Chancellor-Winters with his son an open possibility.

It is challenging to estimate which of Tucker’s goals he can reach. He has been bonding with Devon. But the use of Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) could break trust if a suitable explanation of her presence can not be offered and accepted.

As for Ashley, Tucker’s form of love for her is understood. But Davidson’s character has retained an element of emotion for him. Imagine Ashley’s reaction if he takes Jabot with the intention of giving it to her as a remarriage gift on Y&R.
