Y&R Spoilers: Summer Blocks Phyllis From Her Life, The Abbotts’ Panic About Jeremy Stark

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will make a move to protect her family from Phyllis Summers’s (Michelle Stafford) decision to bring Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) into town to chase Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) away.

While Summer admitted she has an issue with Diane and the way she’s manipulating Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Summer cannot support her mother’s decision to bring a hardened criminal to Genoa City. She fears Phyllis’s rash decision could put her stepson, Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez), in the line of fire.

Summer will rage at her mom on Monday’s Y&R episode. She will explain that she understands why she wants Diane to leave town. However, she put her son in danger by bringing this bad man to town, and for that, she cannot forgive her.

Phyllis tries to explain, but Summer doesn’t want to hear it. She tells her until the Jeremy threat is gone, she will not have access to Harrison. At this point, it sounds like Summer is ready to cut her mom off and never look back.

Y&R Spoilers– Jeremy Is A Threat, But How Big Of One?

Diane has spent the past few months telling Jack how dangerous Jeremy is, which could have been a calculated move. That way, when Jeremy showed up in Genoa City, he would do everything in his power to shield her from him, not to mention Jack would fear Jeremy.

Monday’s Y&R episode ended with Jeremy cornering Phyllis in Jack’s office. Phyllis had a look of fear, but that could be an act. However, Phyllis is probably safe with Jeremy, as she is useful to him. He needs her to find Diane, someone they both seem to have a problem with.

Hopefully, Phyllis will find a way to redeem herself so Jack, Kyle, and Summer won’t continue to blame her. Even if Phyllis hadn’t called Jeremy, the conman would have found Diane eventually. He had a million reasons to find her, which was the money Diane took from him.
