And it is understood that Devon later admitted that he could not deny his attraction to Amanda because of the connection to her late identical twin sister and his wife, Hilary Hamilton (Morgan).

Cheating on Devon revealed a flaw in Elena’s character. She chooses not to use her free will to resist a physical attraction but followed her betrayal by coupling with Nate and then abandoning him when he made a moral mistake with his CW takeover scheme.

In Victoria’s mind, Nate is exhibiting the type of calculated business measures someone like her father, or she projects. As Elena told Nate, what happens when or if Victoria decides that Nate served his purpose and is disposable on Y&R?
