Y&R Spoilers: Ashland A Threat To Harrison Or Kyle?

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) was stunned by Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). He did not anticipate Harrison Locke’s (Kellen Enriquez) biological father would appear at Chancellor Park with Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) and forcefully tell him that a restraining order had been filed.

Embracing a legal path means that Kyle is playing hardball with the man Harrison first believed was his father. Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) lied about that plot point, with Ashland being the injured party.

Kyle, Michael, and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) are banking on Ashland not being willing to publicly expose his series of identity and health lies. But that trio has no way of knowing what Harrison means to him or what retaliatory moves may happen.

One of the problems with Victor’s strategy to box Ashland out involves leaving him with no room to move. Braeden’s character believes Ashland will be forced to leave Genoa City, Wisconsin.

But Ashland will almost certainly stay in town until Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) returns home. His goal is not just to remain connected to Harrison but also to reconcile with Victoria.

Ashland’s admission to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), challenging his ex-brother-in-law about Victoria’s feelings, was unexpected. Viewers suspect that Ashland is likely right.

Y&R Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Allowed Himself To Be Pushed

Kyle was furious when his dad told him about Ashland’s cancer lie. Newman’s character allowed Harrison to believe he was dying. That was a breaking point.

While Ashland verbally claims he is sorry for what he did, it seems more likely that he is sorry for having been caught and forced to admit the truth. Ashland also does not like facing the consequences of his actions, as he seemingly did not have to do that in New York.

But Kyle was persuaded by Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), and Victor. Their combined influence had an effect. While their collective reaction was protective, the impact of the restraining order will most dramatically affect Kyle rather than them.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Goes Too Far

Victor has often gone too far. He did so again when encouraging Kyle to get a second restraining order against Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

Kyle shut the Moustache down, telling him that he retains a bond with his mother and is giving her a second chance. The contrast between Ashland and Diane is that Kyle feels Newman’s character was acting offensively, whereas Walters’ alter ego was acting defensively.

Considering his history, Victor will reassess his options and go after Diane using other means. That could create problems for Kyle and Victor’s granddaughter, Summer. She is doing her best to balance the strong emotions within both legacy families on Y&R.
