Things didn’t work out quite as well as Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) planned when the expose about Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) was published. It basically focused on her past and revealed no new and damaging information. Sure, Diane was humiliated but her life is ruined and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman( has yet to see the light, so all in all, this was a failure.

However, Nikki is not about to give up yet. She has another ace up her sleeve and she is ready to use it. That leads her to make a shocking announcement. Does this have anything to do with a trip to Los Angeles?

When Phyllis runs into Jack, she thinks that they might be able to have a civilized talk but she is sadly mistaken. Jack is not happy at all with what Phyllis tries to pull getting this article published. Yes, Jack pretty much guesses who was behind it and he is sick of Phyllis’ pettiness.

So, it looks like Phack might really be over this time. After all those months of longing for Phyllis and knowing who she is, one would have thought Jack would have come around by now but Jack is one stubborn man.

And Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is one stubborn woman. She really has her eyes set on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and thinks if she plays her cards right, things might go well for her. She makes so inroads with Billy on Thursday and is no longer as embarrassed as she was when he so firmly rejected her after she planted one on him.

With Chelsea and Billy growing closer practically before her eyes, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is not happy and lets her feelings be known. She is not about to be with another cheater after learning her lesson the hard way more than once with Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard).
