Deputy Chief Baker told Finn and Steffy that he did not rely on Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) supposed review of Il Giordino’s security footage. As fans recall, Deacon found Steffy’s bump into Sheila was captured on the digital recording.

Deacon erased the recording in a two-step process, believing that covered his tracks. So, the authorities could not restore that deleted footage.

However, Martin’s character said he accessed various surveillance cameras in the vicinity after Sheila ran away from Steffy and the Il Giordino property. Facial recognition and a retinal scan were implemented on a photo that was obtained. There was a ninety-eight percent degree of certainty that Sheila was the person seen in the surveillance photo.

B&B Spoilers – Sheila Carter’s Getaway Plan Is Unusual

Sheila boldly told Deacon that the authorities would not know who they are looking for when they tried to capture her. That does not jibe with Brown’s character walking where she likely knew cameras would record images of her face.

Brown’s character was using a stolen car with a visible license plate. And, most unusually of all, she was driving without her facial disguise, glasses, or a wig. Why would Sheila be so reckless?

The heavy nature of Sheila’s tone with Deacon and when looking at herself in the mirror before she enacted her plan indicates that the authorities and the fans do not have enough information to determine what Sheila is doing.

Sheila told Deacon earlier in the fall that she would realize a relationship with her son next year, meaning 2023. That could mean that whatever she is doing now will be stretched for at least a few weeks.

It could be January, at the earliest, before the climax of this storyline happens. Sheila may not be as in control of the situation as she hoped, with the run-in with Steffy altering her getaway plan.

But those who have followed Sheila through her B&B run and on The Young and the Restless know she is remarkably resilient and lethally dangerous. So, hopefully, the Finnegan family and those they care about can enjoy some days of peace during the Christmas season. But Finn, Steffy, and all others will not rest until Sheila is captured, assuming that is possible.
