The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Stephen Logan (Patrick Duffy) will return to the CBS soap opera for a two-episode arc. People shared that his real-life girlfriend, Linda Purl, will play his love interest on B&B.

Stephen will return to Los Angeles for Thanksgiving, and not everyone will be happy to see him. Logan’s family tensions will rise, especially with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis), and Katie Logan (Heather Tom). They may not be happy to see their father and his new girlfriend.

And speaking of Brooke, she’ll feel uneasy about sharing details about her recent breakup with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), especially considering she still doesn’t know why he pulled the plug on their marriage.

Entertainment Weekly shared that Duffy would appear on two episodes—November 23 and 28, smack dab in the middle of the Thanksgiving celebrations. That means Duffy has either already filmed his episodes or should film in the next few days.

Before this arc, Duffy played Stephen from 2006-2011, after actor Robert Pine (who played Stephen from 1998-2001) departed the show.

Patrick told People that he never thought he would feel this way about another person at this stage in his life. Duffy’s wife of more than 40 years, Carlyn Rosser, died of cancer in 2017.

Purl and Duffy were casual friends for years. But during the pandemic, they linked back up via a group chat and reconnected.

“I loaded up my car and drove 20 hours and ended up on her doorstep just to see if it was real,” Duffy told PEOPLE in 2020. “We haven’t been apart since. I feel quite honestly that it is in keeping with my wife’s desires, the fact that we are intended to be happy. So, when it’s offered, think about it, do whatever you do, but don’t let it pass you up if it’s the right thing.”
