Sister Wives Spoilers: Are Kody And Christine Brown Really Divorced

Sister Wives spoilers reveal that there is a huge argument about the fact that Kody and Christine Brown could be divorced. Kody doesn’t want anyone using the term “divorced” and it is really giving him a run for his money. The couple never asked their church to approve the separation and now he is heated about what is going on in his marriage to her.

Sister Wives Spoilers – Christine Brown Says Yes, They Are Divorced

Kody was pretty upset when his young daughter, Truely Brown, tells him that her mother does feel that they are divorced and this pretty much broke his heart all over again. He tells the cameras, “I was sitting there talking with Truely and she’s like, ‘Well, you and Mom are divorced.’ It was a little bit of news to me.” He mentioned that they never made the divorce an official agreement and they never signed the paperwork. The worst part, according to him is the fact that they never went to their church leaders about it.

Robyn Brown feels the same way about their divorce. She mentioned that the church needed to make the approval or their spiritual marriage was still intact. Janelle Brown mentioned that if they wanted to get the church’s approval, the church would ask them to try and work things out, but because Christine knows that she is done trying, she didn’t want to try to work on things.

Sister Wives Spoilers – The Legal Ties

Since Christine and Kody were never legally married, Christine told the cameras, “Since I don’t have any legal contract that binds me with Kody, there was no legal process that we had to go through. Neither of us is a part of that religion anymore. So, me just saying I’m divorced? I don’t see the problem in that at all.”

The legal issues seem to be something that Kody never thought about when he spiritually married Christine. He made up laws about how the state would take Truely away from them and force her into foster care, but since there are no legal ties here, he will have to continue to make up these lies about custody laws that he knows nothing about.
