Sister Wives Star Meri Brown Won’t Admit To Being A Victim

Sister Wives Many Sister Wives fans view Meri Brown as a victim. And, with good reason, as long-time viewers know that Kody Brown treated his first wife really badly on national TV. Actually, the fact that she hasn’t yet taken off like Christine often puzzles people. Well, she doesn’t see herself the same way, and she went into the weekend following the Fourth of July celebrations in good spirits.

The Enigma Of Sister Wives Star Meri Brown

Many TLC viewers simply find Kody’s first wife to understand, despite her many explanations, they just don’t seem to get her approach to the situation. On the reality TV show, they often see her in tears or anger. And yet off the screen, she often comes across as positive and upbeat. Once a fan-fave, these days, bar Robyn, she’s probably the least favorite of all. Much of that comes from the fact that she makes a good living selling LuLaRoe clothing. However, the opinion of fans won’t let her admit to any sort of failure.

Each season that comes along, Sister Wives viewers see that her spiritual husband puts her through utter hell. In fact, in recent seasons, he talked about how he doesn’t consider her a wife. So, they don’t have an intimate relationship. In Season 16, fans saw that his first wife hangs around like a puppy hungry for a bone, but she gets nada. Often unhappy, fans just don’t understand why she claims that she’s not a victim of a narcissistic pairing.

Sister Wives Star Meri Brown Posts A Quote On being A Victim

Meri Brown seems to be in positive mode this weekend. Often, she shares messages but without context, it’s hard to understand the cryptic meanings. However, this time, she clearly shared a quote that seems to match her outlook. Patricia Buckley is credited with what Meri Shared. In the quote that the TLC star shared, it said, “Someone once asked me how I hold my head up so high after all I’ve been through.” Next, it added, “I said, it’s because no matter what, I am a survivor. Not a victim.”

By sharing the quote, the Sister Wives star seemed to admit that she’s been through a lot of issues in her life. However, she clearly takes inspiration from the message about not being a victim. Well, alcoholics will often state that they are alcoholics: as do folks who got into rehab for substance abuse. It’s apparently therapeutic to admit an addiction so they can stop pretending to themselves that everything’s just fine. Perhaps, Kody’s wife feels that if she did that then she’d not be able to cope with her reality.

Fighting To Stay Positive
