Reese Witherspoon was known to be Rachel Green’s (Jennifer Aniston) youngest sister on the sitcom “Friends,” but she was popularly recognized as Elle Woods in her movie, “Legally Blonde.” Last 2019, she was reunited with Jennifer Aniston to work with her on the Emmy-nominated Apple TV+ series titled “The Morning Show.”

Witherspoon founded a production company called Hello Sunshine, and she also started a Reese’s Book Club, in which she posts books she read on social media and chooses one book every month with a woman as the center of the story. It was previously reported that the actress will reprise her role as Elle Woods in the upcoming “Legally Blonde 3,” written by Dan Goor and Mindy Kaling.

The 46-year-old actress executively produced the newest movie, “Where the Crawdads Sing,” which is based on the book of the same name by Delia Owens. It centers on a woman named Kya (Daisy Edgar-Jones), who raised herself in the marshland of North Carolina and has been isolated from the community. After years of living alone, she opens herself to the world when she connects to two young men from town.

Clad in her pink dress, Reese Witherspoon accompanied the stars during the premiere of her most recent movie. She took to Instagram her excitement about the event as she invited her followers to watch the film. “It’s been such an amazing journey producing this movie at @HelloSunshine and bringing this unforgettable story to life,” she wrote.

During the premiere, the “Hot Pursuit” star opened up about having Taylor Swift sing the official soundtrack of her new movie, and she revealed that the singer reached out to her and shared with her the song titled “Carolina,” which she wrote based on the book.

“She loved the book, and it was just this beautiful gift that she gave the production, and it’s been incredible to see her beautiful songwriting layered over the cinematography and this film. It’s really truly magical,” Witherspoon told E! News.
