GH Spoilers: Valentin Drafts Nina For A Mission

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Soap Opera Digest that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will draft Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) for an important mission. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will get her ex, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) involved in it as well.

General Hospital Spoilers – Going After Victor Cassadine

Valentin and Anna’s objective for this mission, of course, is going after Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) to take him down but still have to be careful. He’s still got Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McClain) in that school in France and her safety is of utmost importance, and how to rescue her. The first thing they need to do towards that end is to bug Victor’s room, but first they have to find a way to distract his henchman, Johann Bauer (Max Decker).

Johann is constantly scanning for listening devices, recording equipment and secret cameras and he’s difficult to get around. He’s the one Valentin kicked into the ocean off the Haunted Star when he and Anna tried to rescue Lucy Coe, (Lynn Herring) who didn’t want rescuing.

GH Spoilers – Distraction Is The Name Of The Game

Distraction is the name of the game here, and Robert distracts Johann while Valentin drafts Nina to move Victor to a different hotel suite temporarily. Nina bought Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) half of The Metro Court, so Nina advising Victor she needs to move him should be completely believable. This will be the suite that Valentin and Anna have already wired with recording devices and other surveillance equipment that should be undetectable, even to Johann. It isn’t hard for Valentin to convince Nina to help, but Valentin doesn’t bargain on Nina trying too hard and not knowing when to stop. Valentin ‘s story to Nina had been that he was the one who put Charlotte in the school in France to protect her from Victor.

General Hospital Spoilers – Motormouth Intervention

The stakes are high because Victor could figure out they’re up to something and Charlotte or any of them could suffer the consequences. Once he gets Victor and Nina together on the phone to tell Victor she needs him to move to another suite of rooms and why, she just keeps talking. She can’t figure out how to get off the phone, even though she’s said enough, she’s closed the deal, she can hang up now!

Nina just keeps talking and talking and Valentin tries to signal her to shut up and hang up, as he’s sure that Victor is convinced. Victor is an elegant and fastidious man, and perhaps she tells him there are cockroaches or bedbugs and it needs to be fumigated but she needs to shut up!
