General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Tuesday, August 16 tease disappointments, doubts and dates as well as a good bit of deception upcoming for viewers. Courts interrupted, business partners disappointed, deceptions continued and one hot date happens for one Port Charles couple.

General Hospital Spoilers – You Offered Him A Good One, Right?

At GH, a doubtful sounding Dr. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) has a desperate question for Port Charles Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper). Portia risked her medical license by bringing Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) out of his coma in hopes he would expose Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) as she recorded him.

Esmé bought the phone used to frame her daughter Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) for revenge porn of Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) having sex.

Unfortunately, even though Jordan created a distraction so Portia could bring him out of his coma, she’ll have disappointing news. Portia asks Jordan if she offered him a good one – meaning a good legal deal – but he didn’t bite, he just wanted a lawyer.

GH Spoilers – Tell Me, Or I’ll Go To The Police

Meanwhile, at Wyndemere, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is still trying to get the truth out of Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) about Esmé, who is presumed dead.

Viewers will remember she tumbled over the parapet while she and Ava Cassadine (Maura West) struggled over a letter in a confrontation. Nikolas had told Victor she’d left town and Victor wanted to use his resources to find her but Nikolas shouted she couldn’t be found.

Victor knows his great nephew is hiding something, and he warns him to tell him the truth or he’ll go to the police.

General Hospital Spoilers – I Have A Way

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is apparently still trying to get control of ELQ away from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and he tells Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) his idea.

Even though the planned merger of ELQ with Aurora Media failed due to Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) insecurities and stubbornness, Drew has a way to get Valentin to give up control.

Drew had offered Valentin a deal last week to help him take down Victor, who is controlling Valentin by using his daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McLain).

Little did Valentin know that Drew was trying to trick him, although he didn’t take the bait. Viewers can expect that Drew will continue trying in upcoming episodes.

GH Spoilers – There’s A Situation

At the Metro Court, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) tells her ex business partner Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) there’s a situation.

Her new business partner, not of her own choice Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) recently interviewed a new chef for the Metro Court and there was no indication Olivia knew.

This situation will lead up to even more conflict between Carly and Nina, and there’ll be a real catfight coming up later.

General Hospital Spoilers – A Courtroom Interruption

There may be hope for Trina after all after Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Arden (Jennifer Field) talked the judge into delivering the verdict.

Attorney Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) had requested a continuance in hopes that Oz Haggerty would testify he sold the phone to Esmé, not knowing he’d refused. Diane hadn’t talked to him yet and so the judge would not allow it.

Suddenly the ADA’s boss, District Attorney Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) walks into the court and demands that today’s proceedings stop immediately.

It sounds like his assistant is being too much of a hotshot and Robert wants a chance for the new evidence to be heard; hopefully, Oz will change his mind.

GH Spoilers – A Hot Date

Back at the Metro Court, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Nina are having a hot date as he tells her he can’t say she doesn’t make things interesting. His ex-girlfriend and mother of Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) Olivia may not have told him about Nina ignoring their partnership and making independent decisions.

Nonetheless, they will enjoy their romantic hot date until Carly, hot under the collar, picks a fight with Nina later in the week. They’ll have a lot of hot topics to discuss then.

General Hospital Spoilers – The Biopsy Results Are Back

Back at GH, Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) has called an apprehensive Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) into her office. Viewers recall that Willow didn’t want to worry Michael or any other close friends and family until there was something to worry about.

She’s about to find out as Terry tells her that the results of her bone marrow biopsy are back.

Viewers can expect Willow will have a devastating decision to make as she finds out she has leukemia. How will this affect her and the baby growing inside her?
