DOOL Spoilers: The Salem Stalker Returns?

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that the soap may be revisiting another one of its more daring storylines from the past. The possession of Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) first aired in 1994 and was quite controversial during that time. But it turned out to be quite successful so it was decided to revisit that storyline to see if it would as successful now. While the new story was updated to have a more modern feel, it was still mostly just a new version of an old storyline. Could the Salem Stalker be the next blast from the past to wreak havoc in Salem!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Is the Salem Stalker coming back?

In late 2003, several prominent Salem residents were murdered one right after the other. Abe Carver (James Reynolds), Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers), and even Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) all died at the hands of the vicious killer. But eventually, Marlena was revealed to seemingly have had a mental break and she shockingly took pleasure in killing her friends and family in the most brutal ways. But nothing was as Ii seemed! Marlena herself was seemingly killed. Thinking she was dead; Marlena was instead shocked to find herself on a tropical island that was built to look exactly like Salem.

DOOL Spoilers – Everything The Salem Stalker Was An elaborate Trick!

Not only was Marlena still alive, but so were all the people Marlena believed she killed as the Stalker. All of them had been spirited away to the same island, which was named Melaswen. This was all a ruse designed to torment Marlena and the rest of Salem by Stefano DiMera (the late Joe Mascolo). Marlena was relieved that she had only been hypnotized into believing she was a murderer. She hadn’t actually killed anyone! Eventually, everyone returned to the real Salem.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Abigail DiMera Is Rumored To Be The Victim Of A Particularly Vicious Killer!

DOOL Rumors persist that Salem is about to see another particularly brutal murder when Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) is found decapitated! Marci Miller is voluntarily leaving the role, but instead of Kate Mansi returning to the part the two actresses have shared for the last several years, Abigail’s death appears to be about as permanent as possible. Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) miracle serum won’t be an option if her head has been completely severed. But is all of this real or is there a new Salem Stalker?

DOOL Spoilers – Abigail DiMera’s Death Appears Irreversible!

Since the soap is going so far out of its way to make fans believe Abigail can’t and won’t be resurrected, perhaps that’s exactly what will happen down the road. Although Miller and Mansi won’t be returning to Days of Our Lives, the role may be recast several months down the road. If other characters start being murdered after Abigail, especially beloved or long-time cast members, the likelihood that Abigail’s death is the first of many victims the likelihood that it was all staged will increase dramatically, most likely orchestrated by Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk), who is the DiMera most likely to follow Stefano’s original plot!
