B&B Spoilers: Douglas’ Return Pushes Voice App – Thomas Set Brooke Up?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) used the voice-altering application on his smartphone again. Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) voice was sampled in front of Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Eric and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) walked in as the faked voice was being played.

That is the second time the Douglas character (who was temporarily played by Django Ferri while Samiri was working on another project) used the application that allows another person’s voice to be recorded and used as an intended silly joke. Thomas was present when Douglas used the app in the recent past, as Donna’s voice was sampled in that instance.

The clear implication is that Thomas used the app to sample Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) voice.

Samiri became the SORAS’d (soap opera rapid aging syndrome) edition of Douglas when the recast Thomas (in the form of Atkinson) returned from New York following Caroline Spencer’s (Linsey Godfrey) unexpected death.

Douglas and Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) bond was orchestrated into being and then encouraged at every opportunity during the period in the plot when Thomas was trying to use his son as a means to forge a romantic relationship with Noelle’s character.

Ferri did a good job during his brief run. Samiri played important roles in various storylines since he debuted in 2019.

B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Misuses Technology Again?

Fans recall that Thomas misused technology to scare Douglas with a digital ghost that was intended to keep Hope in the house a few Halloweens ago. That manipulation, along with many other instances of Thomas committing terrible acts, makes it more likely than not that he framed Brooke.

Brooke’s voice was heard on a confidential recording where she supposedly referred Thomas to a Child Services phone line on an endangerment charge.

Thomas seems the likely suspect in this seeming setup because Brooke pressed him on returning Douglas to Hope’s care and threatened to report him to the authorities. She specifically cited Child Services as an enforcement option.

Brooke took off for Aspen, Colorado, not knowing why Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) jetted from Los Angeles, California. He heard the recording and believed Brooke lied to him about reporting Thomas, with her denial seen as a final betrayal.

Thomas has already realized the reunion of his parents. Brooke is positioned to be at odds with Hope because of the perceived wrongdoing, with Thomas winning on that score as well, whether he proves to be the villain or not.
