90 Day: The Single Life Star Natalie Opens Up On Mike Helping Rescue Her Mom

It turns out 90 Day Fiancé star Natalie has kind thoughts about Mike as he helped her mother escape from Ukraine.

It seems 90 Day Fiancé star Natalie Mordovtseva still has a warm spot in her heart for Mike Youngquist. This became clear when a teaser for the next episode of 90 Day: The Single Life is released. It seems that when Russia’s war on Ukraine began, Mike helped Natalie’s mom to escape the terrors of war.

As the Russian attack on Ukraine continues, many heartwarming stories come out about brave and loving people helping victims. In the case of Ukrainian beauty, Natalie Mordovtseva, it turns out Mike Youngquist helped her mom escape from the country. In fact, in a teaser trailer, she said, “He’s a hero.”

Now fans are wondering what this bit of news means for Natalie’s new relationship with Josh. It seems Natalie is planning a visit to her ex-husband Mike after he helped her mom flee Ukraine.

Natalie opened up in a preview of Monday night’s episode where she speaks about her family’s safety during the ongoing war. The TLC reality star now lives in Florida, but she revealed that Mike had paid for her mother to be able to safety evacuate from Ukraine. Meanwhile, Natalie is grateful for his help.

Natalie’s mom escapes Ukraine

It turns out that two weeks after the first attack on Ukraine, her mother had safely left the country. In a teaser clip for Monday’s episode she says:

Thank God I was able to help my mom escape.

Meanwhile, she added that her mom is now living in a rented apartment in Bulgaria. Moreover, she is now awaiting her refugee visa to be approved so that she can join Natalie in the US. She pointed out:

My mom cannot go home because it’s not safe. We lost our home.

It was then that Natalie spoke of her ex, Mike, saying in her opinion he is a great guy as when the war started he helped them and she was even able to buy her mom a ticket. She added, “He helped a lot.”

Even though Mike helped her mom escape from war-torn Ukraine, this doesn’t mean he and Natalie were on good terms when the war began. However, he did quickly show his support for Natalie’s family. The Ukrainian beauty explained:

After not speaking with Michael for five months, he reached out and said ‘Where is your mom? How can I help?’

He would come several times to Ukraine and he cared for my mom. With this money he gave me, we got ticket for her. She flew to Bulgaria because of Michael. Thank God. Michael is a hero and I love him for that.

How does this affect the 90 Day Fiancé star’s new relationship?

It now seems there could be a reunion of sorts for Natalie and Mike. She explained that she has booked a ticket to visit him in Seattle and told her mother that he wants to talk to her, adding:

I want to go back to Michael to apologize for leaving. Also, when I left Sequim, I left my birth certificate, my passport, my clothes.

Fans will recall that Mike and Natalie first starred on season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé. That season revealed her move to the US on her K-1 visa. However, it was clear from the start that the couple had many problems, including Natalie’s wish to have children and the fact that he wouldn’t change his diet to support her pescatarian lifestyle.

Since they split, Natalie has been looking for love and someone to father her children. Her latest romantic adventure is with Josh, who Natalie thinks doesn’t give her enough of his time. In last week’s episode of 90 Day: The Single Life, we saw Natalie explaining her expectations, including kids. This left Josh with plenty to consider and a promise to talk about their future soon.

However, it seems Josh is still on her mind as she books her flight to Seattle. She said there is a problem, adding that she is still dating Josh. However, he never offered help, but with Michael, no matter how they parted, she can’t escape the fact that he is still a part of her life. In fact, Natalie admitted, “Michael is in my heart.”
