The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman Is Furious At Victor Newman For Giving Into Adam Newman’s Whims

As viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall, Victoria is furious at Victor for just giving into Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) whims, without even fighting, and unseating her from her coveted position of CEO of Newman Enterprises to turn it over to Adam. Even though Victor had assured her that he has a plan and that she would regain her seat in the CEO office, she doesn’t understand why he is not fighting against Adam.

Last week, Victor admitted what had happened in Kansas so many years ago surrounding the mystery of AJ Montalvo’s (uncast character) death, and Nikki understood that he was trying to protect “ALL of his children” – viewers have not heard the secret, but it sounds like Adam himself may have been involved, even though he was a child at the time, maybe his own son Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) age.

Victoria has been so upset by the power shift that she has moved herself and her children out of the main ranch house and into the tack house on the Newman Ranch property, which is where her brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) once lived. That in itself was a compromise because Victoria is so upset at her father she doesn’t want anything to do with him and expressed to her mother, Nikki, that she couldn’t stand to be in the same house with him!

Y&R Spoilers – Victoria Newman Complains To Her Mother About The Situation

Victoria complains, complains, and complains to her mother about her father obviously having given into Adam’s demands because he must have been impressed by his black sheep son’s ruthlessness. Victor doesn’t answer to anyone, so Nikki listens to Victoria’s accusations and complaints and agonizes over everything she hears, because she knows what Victor’s true motivations are and they are nothing close to what Victoria is describing; he made it clear he confided the secret to Nikki because he had to reassure her that his decision was influenced by his strong need to protect his family, including Adam himself.

Finally, Nikki cannot hold it in any longer and decides this strife between Victoria and Victor is not worth her keeping the secret over if it will bring clarity and understanding to their daughter. Nikki hopes it will close up the ever-widening rift between them.

However, instead of bringing understanding of her father’s motives, it instead inspires Victoria to confront Adam; she shows up at the penthouse he shares with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and their son Connor, and warns him that things will not end well for him; and considering the two of them share a long history of being at odds, Adam figures that she’s just there to push his buttons at first, but then he senses maybe there’s more to it.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Nikki Newman Tells Victor Newman She Told The Secret To Victoria Newman

Back at the ranch, Nikki confesses to Victor that she told Victoria what is really going on because she was so upset at him, and then Adam shows up and rants that he wants an ironclad contract right away because of what Victoria told him and that if Victor didn’t deliver, the whole world will know that Victor arranged for a man’s murder!

Nikki blurts out to Adam that Victor has been trying to protect HIM, and doing her best to make peace between all of them – however, she quickly learns that honesty is not always the best policy when her plan backfires and does serious damage to the Newman family!
