Royal Family News: Prince William And Kate Middleton Advertising For A Royal Housekeeper, At Kensington Palace

British Royal Family news asks do you fancy yourself a job in London and the chance to live rent-free in a manse like Kensington Palace to boot? If so Prince William and Kate Middleton are looking for you!

The United Kingdom based pair are in serious need of a housekeeper and the lucky winner will be allowed to travel with the royal family as they jaunt off to their other mansions throughout the year.

Royal Family News Updates:

Did we mention that all meals and travel expenses are paid for, on top of a separate salary? There’s just one catch–William and Kate are sticklers for someone who is trustworthy and discrete–no tattling to the tabloids and no TMZ on speed dial.

So how does a couple such as Wills and Kate go about finding good help these days? The family placed an ad on the royal vacancies website of course! There they stressed the importance of their new household help too, “maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.”

Are You Ready To Be A Royal Family Housekeeper And Get To Know The Cambridges?

The vacancy is based at Cambridge’s royal residence in West London and pitched as an “exciting opportunity,” as in: “This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and positive team. You will be a self-starter who also enjoys working collaboratively.”

If you’re interested you should know that you will be primarily at Kensington but must be ready to travel with the family at a moment’s notice.

How much can one expect to be paid to clean up after two adults and three kids? The job ad fails to mention that little tidbit. Is that a red flag we see waving in the wind?

At the same time, potential applicants are warned to, “be able to manage a varied workload, show initiative, and be content to work flexibly.”

Are You Looking For An Opportunity To Expand Your Skill Set?

Additionally, “You will be keen to take on new challenges as these arise and develop your own knowledge and skills.” So in other words it’s a starter job, an entry-level op for someone who wishes a life of servitude, make that service, to the royals.

So if you’re interested better hop to it, as applicants must have an application on file at The Royal Household careers website by November 7. Good luck!
