Royal Family News: 7 Power Players Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Have Grabbed On To

Meghan Markle And Prince HarryBritish royal family news shows that Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry, who prefer you call them the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are living large just like they promised they would when they told his United Kingdom family they simply needed more, much more, than they could provide.

They’re sitting pretty in a £11million mansion in Montecito, California and have surrounded themselves with A-listers as they try to attain the same status. These are the people who the Markle’s have name dropped as they attempt to climb the ladder of their dreams.

#1 Oprah Winfrey

Oprah was a guest at the royal wedding, and surprise of surprises, she also lives in a mansion in Montecito. Oprah hawked some coffee for free for Meghan last week, making her a reported cool half a million by telling her fans to buy it.

#2/3 Power Couple Katharine McPhee And David Foster

Meghan and Katharine went to the same high school and Katharine and her music producer husband David Foster joined Harry and Meghan at Lucky’s Steakhouse in Montecito in October. Katharine blabbed that right after meeting, David and Harry became, “like father and son.”

She told Access Hollywood, “My husband has a really, really beautiful relationship with Harry. They’re like, they’re so cute. They’re like father and son.” Bet Prince Charles got all warm and fuzzy at that.

#4 James Corden

James Corden attended the royal wedding and was given access to the more exclusive evening reception. He reportedly has known Harry for years.

#5/6 Amal and George Clooney

Amal and George Clooney were invited to Harry and Meghan’s wedding, but it’s been questioned why since apparently the VIP’s told the other guests they didn’t even know the bride and groom! If true, the Markle’s brazen power grab worked, because later they were invited to the Clooney’s Lake Como villa.

#7 Serena Williams

Tennis ace Serena Williams met Meghan in 2014 at a charity football game. Afterward Meghan made sure the world knew that she knew Serena by writing on her blog, The Tig: “We hit it off immediately, taking pictures, laughing and chatting—not about tennis or acting, but about good old-fashioned girly stuff. So began our friendship… She quickly became a confidante I would text when I was travelling, the friend I would rally around for her tennis matches, and the down-to-earth chick I was able to grab lunch with a couple of weeks ago in Toronto.”
