Meghan’s Cheerleader At it Again – ‘Duchess Is Going To Be President In 2024!’

Yet again, Meghan Markle groupie, Omid Scobie has gushed that the Duchess is likely to run for the highest political office in the United States of America in 2024. For those who don’t know, together with Carolyn Durand, Omid Scobie wrote the sugary sweet “biography” of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s lives together so far. Many have criticized the book as nothing more than sycophantic propaganda designed to prop up Meghan and Prince Harry’s version of life events versus those given by Buckingham Palace.

Now, Mr. Scobie is saying (yet again) that due to a gambling agency slashing odds on Meghan running for the American presidency, she will probably do so. In Omid Scobie’s words, Meghan Markle has “her eyes on the US presidency.”

One can imagine Mr. Scobie with some pompoms in hand, dancing and skipping as he spouted out an effusive, “Meghan is the embodiment of the American dream. One day we may see Meghan become president.”

However, most regular people beg to differ with Mr. Scobie’s assertion, noting Meghan Markle’s off-putting, polarizing behavior.

Meghan And Harry Both Are Getting Uber Political

While it’s incredibly doubtful that Meghan Markle will want to run for the U.S. presidency in 2024 due to her involvement with the American media giant, Netflix (she reportedly signed a 5-year deal), there is no question that her activism has leveled up.

During a recent ABC network special, both Meghan Markle and Prince Harry delivered speeches that many saw as a not-so-subtle call for the removal of Donald Trump from office.

For example, Prince Harry said, “As we approach this November, it’s vital that we reject hate speech, misinformation, and online negativity.” As British tabloids have noted, everything Harry said was a jab at the American president who is sometimes seen as brash, crude, and who has been accused of using inflammatory language.

With that in mind though, it’s hard to see Omid Scobie’s comments concerning Meghan Markle as remotely serious. There has been a tremendous backlash against the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for their obvious trampling of traditional royal protocol.

For instance, one social media user said, “I found Meghan’s departure from the Royal Family tacky, selfish, and disrespectful to everyone.”

Another furiously said that “They need to stay out of our politics!!! They could not be more removed from the reality of being American!!!!”

Meghan And Prince Harry Living in A Bubble

Omid Scobie apparently can’t get the pulse of Americans, but Piers Morgan is pretty close to the money. The British commentator and journalist wrote in a recent op-ed that, “The Royals don’t do politics. Not publicly, anyway.

It’s one of the cast-iron rules of being a member of the Royal Family – that you don’t spout off your own political opinions for public consumption because it would damage the integrity of the Monarchy.”

Mr. Morgan continued, noting that, “it appears Meghan and Harry didn’t get the memo. Or rather, they got it – but they don’t want to abide by it.”

Mr. Morgan went on to lambast Prince Harry and Meghan for abusing their positions of privilege. As Mr. Morgan noted, “Harry’s comments have already gone down like a cup of cold vomit with Trump supporters who think he should keep his royal hooter out of their election.

And I don’t blame them for feeling angry. Many British people like me are angry too. It’s frankly outrageous for two members of the Royal Family to abuse their positions and embarrass their country in such a shameless way.”

The fact is that many feel that Prince Harry and Meghan live lives of such outrageous wealth and privilege that they cannot possibly understand the realities lived by the vast majority of Americans. Thus, to have ultra-privileged people like Harry and Meghan Markle lecture and posture while they live in their ivory tower in Montecito is just a bit much.

Omid Scobie should catch a clue. Americans won’t vote for Meghan Markle even if she did run for president as long as they consider her to be an elitist, privileged brat.
